Welcoming staff. Establishment was spotlessly clean. Bed comfy. Powerful shower. Breakfast £8 and worth every penny.. tasty cooked lovely. Will return and recommend. Stayed in room 5.

My room was clean and comfortable. The location was good, just outside restricted parking area so easy parking for free on street. It was only a short walk to amenities also and In a nice quiet area. The staff member I met was friendly and let me know she was available if I needed anything. Good communication from hotel before my stay, which was nice and welcoming.

The communication was excellent, both prior and during the stay. We felt welcomed and valued as guests. The location was really good - 15 min walk into town or a 10 min walk down to South Bay. There are also takeaways and a Sainsbury’s Local close-by. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Nice touches like complimentary sweets.

The room was very clean, comfortable and the facilities, tea/biscuits/shower, were excellent. The car parking was free and plentiful and just across the road. Will use this hotel again in the future for sure.

Yes we did enjoy our stay at the Mountview hotel. Hilary phoned me on Saturday after I had messaged, saying we would be arriving well before the 16:00 check-in, and would walk round until then, you can check-in anytime “ I’m here all day”, we did at 14:00. The hotel is a little bit away from the town but only a 10-15 walk with lovely views. Room was on first floor nice and spacious everything you need in there, breakfast was well worth the money came to the table nice and hot. Hilary couldn’t do enough for you, she is a credit to the hotel, will definitely book again.
