We booked for a sunday night to meet up with family and enjoyed a good sunday lunch. The Mayfield is convenient for location

The room was lovely, very modern and clean. Bed was comfy. Room service was not brilliant as we were there 4 nights and they never cleaned the room or changed towels. We had to ask for clean towels and toilet paper. Apart from that it was excellent. Bus service very poor, just 1 bus an hour then they are either full or not turn up. £3 per person each way to Scarborough! Cheaper to use your car. Food in restaurant not a great choice but reasonable.

Was a Saturday night, stayed room 6 first room at top of the stairs. So everyone would pass. Wasn’t too noisy. I do think that the kitchen extraction might be located near or below as there was humming that stopped about 9/10ish pm but then came back on at 7am. We didn’t leave the room literally arrived went in there slept and left.

We stayed there last week and they give us a lovely room. We’ve had our again stayed there the weekend just gone and the rooms are exceptional we were given was even better 👍 Again, we had out dinner there, i had a glaves burger which was lovely and juicy, my wife had the chicken parmo which again was also lovely. We’ll be definitely staying there agian. Highly recommended David &Gail

Very Clean, modern and loaded with extras like mini fridge, Dyson fan and tv on wall, radio alarm clock and phone. Pub good atmosphere and friendly staff Nice breakfast

Beautifully clean good sized room with excellent facilities. Bar and restaurant staff extremely friendly and helpful. Bar food very good value and full English breakfast was more than enough! Great place to stay with plenty of free parking. Would definitely recommend a stay if you’re in the area.

An excellent hotel ,the hotel looked excellent, the staff very friendly the room was excellent bathroom really nice,with a really nice shower.Breakfast was excellent and the bar meals were the same.we will be back,so that's an indication of how pleased we were with the hotel
