Built in 1822 this listed building is full of character offering spectacular views across the North Bay to Scarborough Castle and the Yorkshire coastline.
The Leeway’s rooms are tastefully decorated and feature Freeview TV, free WiFi and are supplied with tea and coffee making facilities along with hairdryers.
The hotel is over three floors. It has no lift.
The Leeway overlooks the cliffs and the beach that stretches for over a mile along the rugged coastline. There is free parking on site and the fun fair and arcades of South Bay are just a 10-minute walk away.
The Town centre is home to a variety of restaurants that offer sea food, Italian, Indian, Chinese and English cuisine, all just minutes away.

Zsuzsanna was a very welcoming host. I loved my stay at The Leeway as it was clean and warm, beautifully decorated with good taste. The breakfast was delicious too. I enjoyed the view of the bay from my room window.

Room very comfortable, spacious and very clean. Great communication and nice extras such as the coffee machine. Breakfast was great too.

Breakfast was very generous and cooked well the decor was very tasteful and very nice to look at i had a lovely Seaview there was plenty of tea and coffee facilities in the room and the shower facilities and toiletries were ample also i was comfortable and warm i don't usually give reviews but if felt that this hotel deserved a good one i have stayed here before and hopefully i will stay there again i fully recommend

Very friendly staff, couldn't be more helpful settling in. Room was nice, comfortable and well presented. View down to the sea was lovely. Breakfast in the morning was well worth it. Will be staying here again when back in the area. many thanks

We were very lucky to have our room upgraded, and it was stunning. Super friendly welcome, great to be able to park at the property, very flexible on checking in. Cannot do the view from this property enough justice, we spent ages just sat people watching!

Friendly greeting, immaculately clean and comfortable accommodation. Great facilities in the room, love the mini fridge and chair by the window. Duvet and pillows are excellent.
