Beautiful location in rural area plenty of dog walks but very central only 10 mins drive from everywhere you would need

The lodge was absolutely beautiful, had all the necessary amenities that you would need for a short trip away. It was beautifully furnished, and lovely and cosy. We were located next to some beautiful lakes and woodland so could enjoy a lovely scenic walk in the mornings which was very refreshing. It was also close to the centre of Scarborough so only a short 10 minute drive, and near local bus routes. We travelled by train so this would be a ideal stay for non drivers. Finally Brain was extremely helpful and a excellent host, we had a little issue with the boiler in the late evening and within 15 minutes of advising Brian, he had made his way up and fixed the issue. Now that's good customer service!!

The property was excellent and well equipped throughout. Had nice homely touches with the decor. The bedding was really nice and soft with decent beds/mattresses. It was spotless on arrival and had extras like tea/coffee/towels. I was travelling with two kids under 2 and there was a bed guard in the cupboard which helped loads. Outside was a great hot tub and fire pit…really couldn’t fault it 😊 nice quiet holiday park which was a great base for seeing Yorkshire. Not much on the park but that wasn’t an issue for us.

It was cute, cosy, clean and very comfortable. It was well equipped with everything we needed and all appliances/facilities were easy to use. The hosts went above and beyond to make the weekend special for my partner’s birthday, which they didn’t have to do but it was very generous and we were so grateful.
