We chose to stay in the Yoxford area as we planned to visit local villages and Minsmere RSPB reserve over the weekend. We had read that the hotel was "quirky" which appealed to us. We stayed in the Minsmere room which was large, well furnished and equipped. The bed was very comfortable. Everywhere was very clean. Throughout the hotel the ornaments seemed very "colonial" but fitted the age of the property and were indeed quirky and interesting. The breakfast was very good indeed and the manager was friendly and helpful. A great overnight stay for us, celebrating a rather special birthday.

The hotel could do with a bit of modernisation. The staff is very friendly and helpful Very nice breakfast was served with fresh produce. 8 minutes walk from Darsham rail station so good location.
