The hotel is very well located. We received a friendly welcome and were provided with all the information we needed. The hotelier also had very good tips for our stay. We particularly liked the “cozy” atmosphere of the hotel with the Christmas decorations. Thank you also very much for the late check-out.

Beautiful location right at the lake, five minutes from the castle. Really cosy room with access to the garden and amazing dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Loved the charm of the hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly. The location is perfect close to the castle and other attractions. Breakfast was excellent served in a beautiful room. Would definitely stay there again.

Next to the castle and 10 min walking from restaurant very « chic » hotel in Savonlinna. The staff was very nice and the breakfast is very good. Free parking in the street or in the private parking (in September). The old style makes the difference

Breakfast was lovely, location is great, very close and within walking distance to the fortress/castle. Our room was nice and clean and had a balcony, which was lovely.

The location of the hotel is perfect for a visit to Olavinliina Castle, being only a five minute walk away. The hotel from the outside looks like a normal square boring building, but inside is a completely different experience. It was designed by a Finnish Architect in the 1930's as a hostal, and is now a listed building. The night we stayed the hotel put on a very nice free buffet and then follwed it the next morning with a fantastically varied array of foods for breakfast.
