Location is fantastic, right in the centre of Saumur and short walk to everything. There is a boulangerie just a short walk away that opens at 730am and we loved their fer a cheval pastry. The hosts run the Cafe Gaspard just below the apartment and also offer breakfast options if you prefer something fancier.

We chose this apartment because it was central to the town centre and were not disappointed. The vibe of the market square was amazing and the buzz from the local market that appeared just below our room on our last day was great. The apartment was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Wished we had had more time to use the terrace area. Our hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We had a petit dejeuner in the cafe the day we left and it was excellent. The restaurants nearby were great.

Gorgeous quirky arty and tastefully equipped room in an incredibly central location. There was a little private courtyard to sit in and the cafe downstairs served up the most delicious petit dejeuner. Having a teapot was wonderful for a change! Our room was spacious and airy despite the heat outside and while being right in the centre of Saumur it was incredibly private and quiet.
