Hotel Overview

Close to the centre of Saumur, the hotel Anne D'Anjou is overlooking the river and has a view of the chateau above.
All of the rooms offer a satellite TV and views of the Loire River and of the chateau. Five of these rooms still have their original decor (Louis XVI, Restoration, Empire periods). Rooms with views of the river or castle are available upon request.
The swimming pool is heated from april to october.
Guests can enjoy an on-site wellness centre which features a jacuzzi and a sauna at an additional charge.

Friendly staff. Very good quality room with view of river overlooking the Loire. Good location. Close to one of the best restaurants in Saumur, Le Pot de Lapin. Lovely open space garden at back. Very welcoming to dogs, would not have used this hotel if not.

Very comfortable bed and quiet. Nice touch with the netspresso cafe capsules rather than coffee sawdust you usually get. We opted out of the breakfast as there are lots of boulongeries around.

A lovely quaint and historic location with friendly, nice staff. Chamber maids very helpful and kind. We had a really enjoyable staff and will return.
