Located 450 metres from the entrance of Sarlat la Caneda medieval city, capital of the scenic Périgord Noir region, the Hotel de Compostelle is nestled between the Vézère and Dordogne valleys.

Very spacious room with great balcony. Comfortable bed. A few minutes walk from the center, but the benefit is plenty of free parking

The location is excellent, close to the city center, and at the same time it is so calm.

Very nice location, really close to the city center, with possibility to park for free around the hotel (we were a little lucky in this sense and could always park very close to the hotel). Fairly spacious bedroom with a nice balcony, not the most comfortable bed but still Ok. Really kind staff.

It's slightly to one end of the main street and, amazingly, has free on-street parking and an easy 5 minute walk to the centre of town. We had Room 19 with the large balcony with an outdoor table and chairs; the beds were super-comfy, there was also an easy chair and footstool so I felt we got quite a few 'extras', and I'd give the lovely pool area a 4* rating! Both of the reception staff were incredibly helpful. I was able to borrow an iron and board.
