Staff very friendly. Great breakfast. Room felt like new. I made a mistake and left my meds behind me, I discovered this when I was in Berat and moving to Tirana the following day. I was hoping for express post, but they came up with the idea to put it on the bus from Sarande to Tirana. I just had to pick it up from bus driver. I can't thank them enough. ***** Rating

The location is excellent. Very close to all restaurants, nightlife, and boat departures. Also a 10-minute walk from the port, where you can catch a ferry to Corfu. Breakfast was good. Staff was very friendly.

The Star Hotel was fantastic, super modern, with a tranquil environment and delicately decorated! This hotel exceeded our expectations!!! It was in a great location, so easily accessible from two main streets in Saranda, and it was very close to Saranda City Beach, to the entertainment area, bars, restaurants and to the famous promenade. The owners of Star Hotel, Laureta and Oresti went above and beyond to make our family stay so enjoyable and memorable!!! They upgraded us from a three-beds room we had booked online into a beautiful, very spacious, spotless, super clean and very modern furnished apartment with two rooms, a dinning area with a fully-equipped kitchen, at no extra cost. Thanks a million to both Oresti and Laureta for going an extra mile to make our daughter and us enjoy our stay so greatly!!! Their hospitality is outstanding!!! What a delicious and qualitative breakfast with lots of variety they offered every morning from 8am till 10am. Their staff members were very friendly, hard working and with smiley faces. We will return next summer again, and we would recommend other travellers to go and stay at Star Hotel to enjoy an excellent trip.

Before planning our trip, we researched many hotels and apartments via Booking.com and Google Maps and decided to stay at Star Hotel. It exceeded our expectations. We had a spacious room with a balcony and a side sea view. The hotel is modern, fresh, nicely furnished and super clean. No problems with hot water, good air conditioner. The owner is one of the loveliest people we've met. He was always attentive, checking in to ensure we were comfortable and offering help if needed. The food for breakfast is more than enough not to be hungry and always fresh. Location is perfect: the hotel is centrally located. We did not hear the noise from the beach restaurants, as it is slightly elevated from the main promenade (like 7 min upstairs. Mind this if you have a heavy luggage, maybe better to take a taxi. But doable on foot if you're travelling with cabin luggage). This spot has easy access to both upscale beachfront restaurants and more affordable eateries higher up, allowing us to enjoy great food while saving money. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from a bus stop and a supermarket and about 15 min walk from the port. I highly recommend Star Hotel as a place to stay and as a perfect match of price and quality.
