I loved this hotel. I was looking for one of those old-school communist-era type of hotels as I always do when travelling in Eastern Europe, and this place did not disappoint. It was still clean and modern though. The room was spacious and warm, with a great view over the Avaz Twist Tower. The location was convenient to the tram stop, for central Sarajevo as well as the airport, and also the bus and train stations. Hotel personnel were friendly and helpful, particularly one of the evening waiters whose name I forget, and the breakfast and dinner were both great! Although the place regularly receives coach loads of groups, it does things really well to make you think they're not there and keep the room and hotel quiet and comfortable.

Amazing view to the Avaz Twist Tower, very comfortable double bed, good bathroom, nice bar inside of the hotel, very polite and helpful employees.

This was real surprise. Since this is an old hotel, I expected old rooms, etc. However, I was really surprised. They have reconstructed IV floor rooms. Completely new! Everything was clear, new, excellent. This part of hotel is really for recommendation.

The hotel reminds of some other times of ex-Yugoslavia, but there is nothing wrong with that. A pleasant stay. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.

The staff were friendly and the room and building were really clean. The breakfast had lots of options. It's a short walk (maybe 10-15 mins) from the bus station/train station area so is good if you are traveling through.

Breakfast was a feast with many different types of food, like polenta and fish and salads. There was a great variety. There is a bar for drinks, but they do not serve any food, not even peanuts or olives. You'd better have dinner before going to the hotel. The rooms were small and clean, ok.
