the building is quiet old / historic / antiquated. The owner was very polite and offered me a port wine. The town is nice and quiet

Sergio was the perfect and considerate host, he was very welcoming to his generational family home. The weather did not cooperate to explore the garden. Very nice little town high above the Duoro.

Sérgio was a lovely host. He had some great tips for restaurants and places in the neighborhood, gave us a glass of his homemade port and after our stay was kind enough to mail us some items we had accidentally left behind. The house is great and located well within the valley. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

A fantastic property with a stunning garden ,a nice little balcony where to enjoy your complimentary house port watching the sunset, Sergio is wonderful host who later on brings you your nightcap ( houseport). The town is small ,parking is available on the street in front of the garden, the entry gate is always open but needs to be pushed a bit !
