Location was great, gardens and pools were nice, villa we stayed in was a good size, nice porch, old style Balinese style which is fine. A bit dusty and dark though, overall a little dated and faded but we knew that when booking. The different rooms types are confusing and don't seem to match the website, go for one of the more expensive joglo types if you can, although I don't know the difference between them. The budget rooms should be avoided. The property overall quiet, avoid room 5 at the rear of the property right near the cafe and pool, kids shrieking started early as well as cafe noise. They shifted us no problem, same sort of room just quiet.

Location, location location - 100m south of the Icon, entry from street (Danau Tamblingan) and beachside. Staff friendly and helpful. It's a slightly old-fashioned place, so whingers will complain about slightly faded decor etc, but it's fine (we looked at the cheaper rooms and thought the extra Rp.90,000 per day for the junior suite well worthwhile beautiful gardens and two decent pools with lots of loungers, some in shade (but water rather warm!) Decent sized fridge, excellent a/c, beds and towels done daily (but see below for a minor niggle). Comfortable bed. We will definitely want to stay here when we are in Sanur. Decent if uninspiring restaurant, standard dishes at a modest price but glad we didn't take breakfast, looked pretty miserable, plenty of other places to eat.

The location on the beachfront is perfect. They have lounges for guests on the beach. It’s a central location with an easy walk to unlimited restaurants, shops and night markets. The traditional style Bali gardens are beautiful. There are two swimming pools situated either end of the resort. They need some TLC but are clean.

The Rumah Joglo Bungalow is a lovely little abode, very cozy & homely, full of wooden decorations. The bed was large and comfortable and was equipped with mosquito nets. The AC was quiet and reasonably effective. There was a big private bathroom in an outdoor extension with both a walk-in shower and a bathtub. The room was swept and the bed was remade daily and although it's probably been a while since someone vacuumed under the bed, that didn't bother me. The location was perfect, right by the beach and with easy walking distance to everything on the main drag in Sanur.
