We returned this year for a 5 night stay on half board as part of completing the Camino walk from St Jean to Finisterre. This year we were allocated villa accommodation which was great to have our car next to our spacious room. The restaurant staff (Cruz and her colleagues) are fantastic, friendly and professional and the food is very good.

Having visited Santiago de Compostela before we knew that we would have to seek a hotel that was outside the town centre if we wanted secure car parking. Obviously, we would have been delighted to stay at the Parador but the time we would have spent enjoying the hotel did not justify the cost and so we settled on staying at Gran Hotel Los Abetos and it didn't disappoint! Large comfortable room with spacious bathroom made our stay very enjoyable. Ample parking helped. The front garden was worth walking around too. The hotel is within easy reach of the town centre by car. This hotel offered good value for money. Finally, the breakfast was plentiful and varied too. Simply put, no complaints!

THE ROOM WAS EXCELLENT AND VERY COMFORTABLE BED. THE BREAKFAST WAS QUITE GOOD AND WE ATE ONE EVENING AT THE HOTEL AND IT WAS FABOULOUS AND VALUE FOR MONEY

Stunning hotel Traditional and Classy A beautiful room with the most comfortable bed and a large bathtub The food in the restaurant was amazing both breakfast and dinner were well worth the price A pool was available but unfortunately it was raining when I arrived A great place to stay at the end of the Camino There is a shuttle service from the centre of Santiago to the hotel but unfortunately I was not made aware of this at the time of booking and even more unfortunately had to walk to the hotel ( after a 16 mile day ) due to a lack of taxis …. However upon arriving at the hotel I was able to relax in great style

The hotel was nice with a lovely pool area. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is out of town but there is a regular shuttle bus into the centre of town. We were happy with our stay.

The reception, rooms, pool and food were excellent. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend the hotel to friends. We had just finished the Camino de Santiago de Compostela so this was heaven.
