The location was very good. The nice streets with good restaurants, ice cream shops are 5 minutes walk. A bigger supermarket (exito) is 8-10 minutes by foot, but there is a smaller grocery store on the beach reachable in 3 minutes. The staff was really kind, always greated us with a smile. Marisol helped us a lot. After the lost city trek we had lots of very dirty, smelly clothes, Marisol washed them for us for a very good price. She even cleaned our very muddy hiking boots, and made us Tinto. When one of us got sick, she also helped. If we had any problems, they always helped. This accomodation is also very safe, they always lock the door if they are not there, and they have cctv. It had airconditioning, and because there are no windows, the sun cannot warm the room up. In Santa Marta it can feel like 38 degrees because of the humidity, so this is also nice.

The stay was everything we needed - good location, clean room, air con, strong wifi, eggs for breakfast and a welcoming host (who patiently listened to my poor Spanish!). They even stored our bags for us whilst we spent a night in Tayrona National Park.
