This hotel is a gem! It is cosy and comfortable and it has a very nice bar and restaurant area. The restaurant has the best food we have had in Santa Catalina. We ate there twice, and it was amazing both times. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. They can organise Coiba trips for you and get your laundry done. They speak both English, French and Spanish. The place was clean, had a nice terrace outside the rooms and good wifi. Highly recommend it!

The owner Juan is from Spain and speaks german and english very good, which was very helpful for us. We had nice conversations with him and he could answer a lot of questions about Panama and Southamerica. He cooks very good I can recommend it- must try! Juan and his wife are very nice people. Thank you Juan!

We had a really nice stay at Iguanito. Chris and Juan are exceptional hosts and help you with any question or problem. The room is basic but clean and the terrace are is very nice. The food served in the restaurant was among the best we had in Panama for sure. We would stay at Iguanito again for sure if we were about to come back to Santa Cantalina.

Little patio to sit was great. The hotel is nicely located in the centre of Santa Catalina.

- The owners/hosts Juan and Chris are really wonderful, the way how they took care of my stay was really nice, much appreciation for their way how they showed their hospitality. - The fan and a/c works really good in the room - The wifi was super good, especially in a quite far-located place as Santa Catalina - The food, the breakfast, Juan's cooking is already famous and well-known for those who stayed in Hotel Iguanito, can confirm, but it's more the passion, the energy and his joy he puts in the food and dishes - Also the restaurant/breakfast area in the hotel, is also like a nice play to meet others - The energy and vibe that Juan and Chris gave to their hotel - I also appreciates how Chris communicated over WhatsApp, she was very caring, very good communication in pre-phase and during my stay - Also thanks to Juan's insights and people skills he connected me with some very nice people and probably some future travel buddies - I am a well travelled person, I have been in more than 70 countries, I have done booking, AirBnb and Couchsurfing (hosting people and staying with people) for so many years and for so many place - but it's in the end all about energy and the little things and this is something where Chris and Juan are really good at - I came for Santa Catalina to visit Isla Coiba, but it was closed, I was quite disappointed and with such a low energy, but the way how Juan and Chris changed that, was very nice, much appreciation and much thanks! :) - I can recommend them for 300%
