I had a decent stay at La Playa Inn in Santa Barbara. The hotel is in a good location, close to the beach and several restaurants, making it easy to explore the area. The staff was helpful, which made check-in and check-out smooth. The room was clean, though a bit on the smaller side. It had the basic amenities I needed for my stay, like a comfortable bed, a mini-fridge, and a flat-screen TV. However, I did notice that some areas of the room were a little dated, which could use some updates. One of the perks was the free parking, which can be hard to come by in Santa Barbara, so that was definitely a plus. Overall, for the price and location, La Playa Inn offers good value. It’s not a luxury stay, but it’s a solid option if you're looking for somewhere affordable and convenient in Santa Barbara. Would consider staying again if I’m looking for a budget-friendly choice.

Nice hotel close to the marina and beach. Comfy beds and good shower. Complimentary breakfast was unexpected- just yoghurt and a few snacks and fruit but tea and coffee was available too.

We liked it! Arrived late afternoon and were welcomed by a very friendly gentleman who gave us some tips what we can explore in santa barbara. The hotel has a lovely courtyard which looked beautiful. Very clean rooms, wifi worked well. Parking spaces available. 15mins walking to state street, 5mins walking to the beach

A great hotel with parking on site and breakfast provided. It’s close enough to walk down to the beach and close to the shops and restaurants. Room was very spacious with two Queen size beds. Friendly staff who provided us with a map of the area and gave us ideas as to where to go. Would have liked to stay longer.
