Our room was cozy and clean and we had the biggest private balcony (room no. 10 on the second floor). I was admiring the view every morning and evening. The breakfast was good as well included very good coffee. We have also visited the bar Kristallkeller which is something between bar and restaurant and is also a small bowling alley and we loved the pizza there. It was better tasting than it was in Italy so I definitely recommend to visit!

I ended up in Defereggen and an evening which I thought would be so-so turned out to be absolutely amazing. Just a few minutes after having booked in with Quotin and Sophie around 2130 o'clock at AURA B&B I was promptly greeted with clear instructions on how to get into the room at such an hour. When I arrived everything was in order. There was parking available and when I finally enterered my lovely room I was reminded that they said they also ran a restaurant called Kristallkeller, which I discovered was open late. Famished I decided to make the couple of minutes walk over and to my surprise they and their regulars where the most welcoming bunch I have yet to meet on a road trip. The owners speak great english which helped me bridge the language barrier and I felt very welcome. My only regret is not planning for several days at this place. How could I know it would've been an unforgettable experience!
