Hotel Overview

Founded more than 1,000 years ago, St. Georgen is the oldest monastery in Carinthia. It enjoys a unique location amid 3-hectare grounds at Lake Längsee. Guests can relax in sauna and infrared cabin, and have direct access to the lake with a small beach and a swimming pier.

excellent location, beautiful grounds and buildings, superb view from our room at the lake. Room is nice and clean, well-equipped. Excellent kitchen, great food (breakfast and dinner) attentive staff.

Near the lake. The staff was really kind and answered all of our questions. Breakfast was supreme! The dinner buffet was okay.

The hotel was clean and beautiful, but location in middle of nowhere, not justified for the money spent. No playgrounds for kids. There's lake to see.
