Good location in central Sandakan. Staff were helpful. We were a bit disappointed but heard l similar reports about other hotels in the area.

I really like the breakfast restaurant. The food was always hot and the view over the ocean was really nice. I also like the location close to the shopping mall but also other shops.

Location was great - you don't need to walk too far to go where you want. You are opposite the mall, and around good restaurant spots. Sandakan is a small area, and you are located in the heart of it. The hotel is colourful and quirky, and they've clearly put a lot of effort and time into adding character. The gym was really handy too, with good weights and options for workouts.
