Hotel with a view and what a view. Stunning does not do it justice. This is what you’re paying for. We booked a privilege room with views of sea and city. Room very clean, comfortable and big. Spent one night sitting on our balcony with wine and food watching the the sky darken and the lights of San Sebastián come on. Wonderful view. Funicular down to the beach side was great. You get discount as a hotel guest. Breakfast was great with those beach views again. If you go down late, things get a bit manic with queues and uncleared tables. There is the fairground outside of the hotel, this vanished from your sight and thoughts as you enter the hotel foyer. Free parking is available.

The World Class panoramic views from the summit (181m) of Monte Igueldo, just west of San Sebastián, makes you feel like a circling hawk staring down over the vast panorama of the Bahía de la Concha and the surrounding coastline and mountains.

The views are absolutely amazing! If you like taking photos then stay here 😉 Spacious and quirky hotel. Nice room. Lovely bathroom complete with Nuxe products. Excellent variety of foods for breakfast. Something for everyone. I would, however, recommend a hot plate surface for the cooked breakfasts to keep them warm as it’s all self serve buffet style.

Hotel has a fabulous view. Swimming pool and facilities are excellent. Room was good and clean. It is a distance out from the town, but we understood this, just be aware. Taxi back, no issue.
