Situated in the city center, right next to the cathedral, 10 minutes' walk from the main beach and from most shopping areas. We decided to rent a car because the hostal is juat above a large public parking (although it is rather expensive cca 30 EUR per 24 hours, the car is useful because Biarritz and Pau in France are very close.

Location; bed was fine, a fan was provided. Love the elevator and ensuite shower/toilet. Kettle and hair dryer was provided, this is NOT always available in other places. The floor to ceiling balcony with view of cathedral.

Great location with a balcony overlooking the cathedral. Made it easy to find our way home but was really quiet until after 8am when the street cleaners did the circuit and a bell tolled. Suited us fine as we're up by then and enjoy the sound. Lovely in the evening as families gather with small children. Very relaxed neighbourhood. Kettle in the room and lots of hot water. Supremely comfortable bed and spotless. Host was really cheerful and helpful with directions, even though we arrived earlier than planned.

Javier was lovely and so helpful - he provided us with map and gave us some good recommendations for where to explore in San Sebastian. The bed was firm but comfortable and the room was overall clean. A kettle and some hot drink sachets were provided in the room. The view of the cathedral was absolutely beautiful and the hotel is in the perfect spot for exploring San Sebastian. We found a few bars open late within a 2 minute walk which were lovely and had a great atmosphere.

Absolute amazing location, close to his station & very close to beach & old town. Very friendly staff. Quiet. Couldn't be happier I'll definitely stay here if visiting again

I’ve never stayed in a hostel before. But it was perfect for the trip. It might not have extras like laundry service but it is clean with super comfortable beds and perfectly situated next to the cathedral.

Good price overall for a hotel room in a great location in San Sebastian. Staff/owner was kind and friendly. The room had a direct view over a plaza and the cathedral. The check-in time is earlier than most other places in Spain. They allowed me to keep my luggage on site after check-out until I had to go to the airport. Room was clean overall. I did not meet any other guests while there.
