We had a king deluxe with access to the Premier room for refreshments. We're vegan and so the food offering in the premier room wasn't really for us, but they have good beer and soda selections. Liquor based drinks are a bit strong so we always split them and added more mixer. Breakfast was ok for vegans, good for vegetarians and looked very good for omnivores. You can eat inside or pool side. The room was large and very comfortable. The shower was hot with good pressure. There is a hairdryer and mirrors outside of the bathroom (and mirrors inside the bathroom, of course) which makes it easier for 2 people to get ready at the same time. Our only complaint is that there was no water provided on the first night and the fridge wasn't stocked. Reception, bar, and door staff were all very friendly. Vegans might struggle to eat dinners here. In terms of location, there are many good restaurants as well as museums within waling distance and we felt safe walking to and from them. Overall, pleasantly surprised and would choose it again if we returned.

Great place. I recently suffered accident with bruised ribs and collarbone. Barcelo was the ultimate place for me to unwind for a couple of days. Sauna, steamroom, jacuzzi, gym, and the spacious room really helped my recovery.

Fantastic service in all areas of the hotel. The food was fantastic and the VIP executive room access was great. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. The location is great and the overall experience was fantastic.

The room was very clean, the temperature was comfortable, and the view was great. The location is amazing and safe for tourists and the prices were very fair. The staff was friendly as well. I wish I stayed just a day more to experience their spa, which also has an option to book massages and salon services at an additional cost.

The hotel is in a modern and safe area of the city. Room are spacious, with two large double beds in a double room; however, the very same room can be used comfortably by up to 4 people. Breakfast was excellent, with large choice of dishes, cold and warm, and both local and international. The outdoor pool is large enough to have a swim in, and there is a indoor jacuzzi on the top floor (next to the gym).
