LOCAL TAX LAW
Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 19%. To be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger won’t be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA). This additional fee (IVA) is not included in the hotel rates and must be paid separately.

It's only a short to the main street but a nice quiet and cool oasis to come home to after a day in the hot sun. Staff are helpful and friendly. Good breakfast. You have to press a buzzer at the gate outside to get in but they were always quick to answer even late at night when we returned from an astronomy tour.

Central location close to Caracoles (where tours pick up and drop off). The competitive rate offered made Quechua Hotel an unbeatable choice. Some hostel facilities in San Pedro de Atacama charge way more than what we paid! Very attentive and accommodating staff despite language barrier. Rooms are a bit basic with no air conditioning but decent with very hot shower! Adequate but decent spread of buffet breakfast served daily from 7:30 am. Packed breakfast would be provided upon request in the case of early morning tours.

We were incredibly impressed with Quechua Hotel. The staff were all fantastic and were quick to respond to any query we had either at reception or on WhatsApp. Maria at reception gave us plenty of recommendations on where to eat in town too (our favourite was the Franchuteria bakery). The breakfast was perfect and had plenty of choice including hot toasties and scrambled eggs. The one day we had an early tour the staff provided us with a breakfast to take away. The hotel was impeccably clean, truly impressive considering the dust! We would definitely recommend staying at the Quechua Hotel.

Close to main drag and bus terminal.very friendly service.we stayed in a room in the back with private bathroom Surrounded by trees very peaceful and an oasis from the desert Sun.Very clean and a very good breakfast, they will cook you eggs.

Wonderful staff and the the room was spacious and comfortable. Great location, close enough for a short walk but not too close as to be noisy.
