Hostal Perita is a little but very comfortable hostel. It is a bit outside San Pedro's city centre (so it is quiet) but you can walk there in 5 min. Also, the room and the toilet are very good despite being in the middle of a desert. Overall, a great experience!

Hostel is located close to the center of San Pedro de Atacama (approximately 7 minutes on foot). The rooms have very large and comfortable beds, TV and a clean bathroom and are cleaned daily. The owners of the hostel were very nice and extremely helpful. Basic breakfast was included, in case of trips starting early the owners offer snacks for takeaway (it is also worth knowing that many trips organized by travel agencies from San Pedro de Atacama include breakfast themselves). The space outside of the rooms has tables where you can eat outside, an equipped kitchen and swings where you may relax.
