The kitchen is big, well equipped and the common area is spacious. Especially there are two cats very lovely. Also they provide laundry service

The decoration was very cool . It was not located in the main road of the village where most hotels/hostels, shops and restaurants are but it was only five minutes walking distance. The breakfast was quite nice and the place was very clean and quiet.

TRANSPORT: we used the shuttle service and had Hostal Montepardo book it for us as we landed in Calama. It was smooth and easy. LOCATION: It is tucked away towards the edge of town, which means it's delightfully quiet. It's very safe and easy to navigate - about 10-15mins walk into the main area depending on your pace - we walked everywhere even at night with no issues. HOTEL/HOSTAL: gorgeous, a really beautiful vibe and just a lovely place to chill when needed. They are so sweet and will pack you a takeaway breakfast to collect from the communal fridge in the morning (juice, sandwich and a piece of fruit). They also let us check in as soon as we arrived (which was the morning around 9am) which was so kind and wonderful as we'd been travelling since 7pm the night before. A shower and a nap made such a difference. We booked tours through them too and they were fantastic and reasonably priced!

The place was super comfortable and clean. The lady running the place was absolutely great and super helpful. We had a really great stay and extended another day as we enjoyed the peace so much. 2 friendly cats lounging on the terrace were an added bonus.

We spoke no Spanish but the staff were very helpful and managed to get us on tours that had some english speaking guides. They made us feel very comfortable and the whole place was really inviting. The view of the night sky was marvelous from the roof terrace.

The setting was very picturesque. Staff were lovely. Laundry service was excellent. Breakfast was good enough. They were very helpful with tours and flexible to changes.
