Great location and great views. Make sure you're going by car, or you get a taxi from the bus drop-off location, otherwise it is a hike with your bags.

The location was great - just by car park 6 and easy walking distance to the towers. The lady at reception when we arrived was very friendly and helpful and explained that we could pay for the carpark as part of our hotel bill - just 6 euros. The room was clean and comfortable and a decent size. We ate in the restaurant attached to the hotel, along with our dog who was allowed in, and had a lovely meal with good Sam Marino wine and attentive service. I was glad to have dressed warmly though as the chill from the windows was noticeable. The warmth from the fire where the meat was cooked soon compensated though and it was fascinating to see the skill in getting the cooking just right.

Hotel Cesare was in a fabulous location, and the staff couldn't be more helpful. The hotel provided a beautiful breakfast each other with a very wide range of choices. The rooms are a little on the small side, but you spend most of your time exploring this amazing town, so it doesn't really matter.
