After 3 months of travel, this was the best sleep I had. Amazing mattresses. Daily breakfast was delicious and made with love. The staff are amazing. The place felt like home. Great hammocks and a fantastic terrace with an amazing view. The staff took us on adventures on the lake, and it was clearly a pleasure for them. Great location away from extraneous noise. Lovely pets at the hostel too.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome by Erick, Daniel and the team. The hostel is beautiful and it’s clear that a lot of love and passion goes into the hostel and its atmosphere. The breakfast is the best we’ve had whilst being away (vegan friendly). The best hostel experience we’ve had on our Central America trip.

Feels like family abroad ❤️ we spent christmas eve together with so many lovely people and in such a welcoming atmosphere. Beds are super comfy, the roof top is the ideal place to hang out and the breakfast is so delicious! We totally recommend it!

Everything. The owners Daniel and Eric are friendly and the place truly felt like a home away from home. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had on my whole trip (if not the best) of either a traditional breakfast or fruit and granola. I slept in both the 10 bed dorm and a private and both were super comfortable (loves how the 10 bed had single beds, it was extra cosy!). The place is immaculately clean, attracts the best guests and you are in the perfect position to explore San Marcos at your leisure. I was meant to stay 3 nights and extended for about 8!

This hostel is pure magic and I’m so grateful to have experienced it. It has such a welcoming and warm atmosphere. The owner and everyone who works here are super friendly, down to earth, and really make this feel like home. They all go above and beyond in ways I’ve never experienced through my years of solo travel. It’s something really, really special. Breakfast is delicious - authentic, made with love, and by far the best hostel breakfast I’ve ever been offered. It’s surrounded by nature and greenery. Rooftop is super awesome. It’s quiet, with cozy dimly lit rooms. Only a 5 minute walk to shops, meditation centres, and everything else you might need!

Nice view from the rooftop terrace, garden, delicious breakfast, delicious lemon grass tee from the garden, Daniel (host) was very friendly and helpful. The toilets & bathrooms were clean. The private room was very basic and small but clean and sufficient.

Great location, just set back from the main town centre so very peaceful and quiet but 2 min walk down. The hostel is made by the staff, Danny and Eric, who own / run the place. Danny's advice on things to do locally and support with booking things saved us money and time and ensured we had the most amazing stay. The furry residents (two cats and a dog) are so well behaved but always up for some affection. It's very quiet in the evenings, music off from around 930pm and everyone is respectful and avoids making noise after 10pm so we slept really well which is rare for a hostel. The breakfasts set you up so well for the day and everyone is really friendly too so really good for solo travellers as well if you're looking for people to do things with to save money. Also multiple toilets and showers so you never have to queue. Best hostel we've ever stayed at and so cheap for what you get.
