Located a short walk from the famous surf spot Maderas Beach, Socialtel Maderas - formerly Selina Maderas offers accommodation a 30-minute drive from the lively town of San Juan del Sur. It boasts an on-site restaurant and bar, plus an outdoor swimming pool.
The Nicaraguan tropical-style rooms and bungalows here include a ceiling fan and a patio with views of the pool and gardens. They also have a bathroom with a shower with room-temperature water. Maid service is provided on request. WiFi is available in all rooms.
Snacks and soft drinks are sold at reception, and guests can enjoy international cuisine at the hotel’s restaurant.
The tour desk can help arrange tours and activities for an extra cost, including surfing, horse riding, zip lining and on certain seasons, turtle watching. Daily yoga classes and massage sessions are also offered.
A shuttle service to San Juan del Sur town centre is also available but at an extra fee. Managua International Airport can be reached in 3 hours by car. Airport shuttle services can be arranged at a surcharge.

Slept in a tipi which was super cozy. When we arrived, the mosquito net in the first tipi we got couldn't be closed, so staff helped us move to another one. Facilities in the main building were great and the kitchen was well-equipped. Drinkable water was always available for free. The swimming pool and the zip line were a nice plus! Only 15 minute walk to the Maderas beach.

This is an awesome hotel! Firstly, the staff are super friendly and welcoming! The food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious and it's well worth eating there. Our room was great and comfy, fast wifi, excellent air con and clean. There's free filtered water to fill up your bottles. The swimming pool was warm and the entire hotel and pool area was well looked after. There's two beaches close by and we had secure parking at the hotel for our motorcycles. Overall, highly recommend!!!

The location near to the beach, the swimming pool, the activities, the view from the yoga’s place. The staff was very friendly ! The bed sheets and to have curtains !! Not all guesthouses or hotel have curtains for the bunk bed. It’s a plus for the privacy.
