The staff was nice, room was great and the shower, too. We parked in front of the hotel. We were allowed to use the room in the basement for our work meeting in the evening, which was great. We left too early for breakfast but there was a nearby cafe where we had breakfast.

Nice little hotel above the beach in town center. Small but nice rooms, in our case with balcony. Very convenient location and quite spanish. Nice breakfast with tostados the spanish style. Welcoming staff extremely friendly, breakfast staff mixed. This is a Spanish-speaking place (they called and I had to talk to them in Spanish), so be prepared to scrape some spanish words out of your brain :) All in all a very nice, down to earth place

The hotel is very well-placed, within easy walking distance of the plaza and the beach as well as a number of restaurants and bars. We had a slight problem checking in - the reception was closed and the building was locked, but a nice lady from the cafeteria let us in and found our room key, and we checked in properly later, so no problem. Considering the location, it's extremely quiet: the balcony rooms look down onto a cafe's outside tables, not a street, so it was really peaceful. The room was immaculate, it looked brand-new: the balcony was small, but fine for two people - if we'd had friends with us, we wouldn't have been able to invite them to join us! It's not exactly a sea view - you can see the sea between a couple of buildings, and the beach really is only a few metres away. The shower was excellent, and the bed was big and very comfortable. Overall, a great little hotel: we'll stay there again, next time we're in San Jose.

Right on the best part of the beach (most of the beach is very broad but in this part it’s very quick to get to the water). Hotel was clean, quiet and well maintained.

location is 20m from the beach, brand new refurbished hotel. Our room was with a big terrace with view on the see. The owner was very kind and helpful, providing space for the parking. Small Bar attached to the hotel for breakfast and tapas ! perfect. I will choose the same hotel
