This converted 18th-century farmhouse, set in Almeria’s Cabo de Gata Nature Reserve, is 700 metres from San José Beach. It offers horse riding facilities, an outdoor pool and tennis court.
Cortijo El Sotillo’s traditional Almerian architecture and distinctive yellow colour blend in with the surrounding landscape.

Traditional style, spacious accommodation and super beds, enabling uninterrupted sleep. Pool and pool area provide a fabulous ‘ chill’ area.

Location was excellent - it had the feel of being out of it all but was right next to the entrance to the town and beach. The hotel itself is gorgeous and well maintained, great light in the evening and lots of nice places to sit and relax.

Comfort and simplicity! The ideal place to stay if you are travelling by car, as it is located at the edge of San Jose. It features a car park within the premises. Originally a farm that starred in Spaghetti Westerns this 4-stat hotel has loads of personality. Its swimming pool is simple and cool, the reception staff is kind and helpful, breakfast is fine, you feel at home!
