The breakfast is homemade and delivered to your table - which is surrounded by trees and plants in a scenic garden with a coy pond. The rooftop was my favorite part, chairs to tan, a table to eat, and a beautiful view of the city. They also washed, dried, and folded our laundry in 2 hours for $10. The location is in great walking distance to many restaurants and stores. Will be back.

Comfortable stay with lovely internal courtyard where breakfast is served. Friendly staff, who were extremely helpful throughout. A great spot to explore the city from.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The staff were fabulous and friendly. The breakfast was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel's dig was gorgeous. We would highly recommend this hotel

Winston and his staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. Winston was also great at communicating both before to organize an affordable transfer from the airport and during our stay providing helpful information about the city. Casa 69 is an easy walk to downtown during the day and there are lots of fun bars & restaurants in nearby Barrio Escalante that feels safe to walk to in the evening.

After a long flight we spent a night at Casa 69 before exploring Costa Rica. Everything about our stay was excellent. Check in was easy. The staff were so friendly and warm. Rooms clean and well equipped. The breakfast is brilliant. Incredible value for money and would highly recommend.

We stayed at Casa 69 on two separate occasions. Winston and his staff were unfailingly polite, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing - we particularly liked the fact that we had mugs rather than cups of coffee. We met people who have been staying there for years and we can see why - this is a very friendly and well-run hotel. We'd definitely go back,
