Ilse “I would definitely return and recommend people to stay in the Toucanet Lodge”
The food was delicious, both for breakfast and dinner (breakfast was included). The prices for the food were very inexpensive (dinner), a lot less than in San Gerardo de Dota, where we went for lunch. Diego, the receptionist, was very friendly. The walk on the trail behind the hotel was wonderful.

Kind staff, delicious food at a good price. Breakfast was small but delicious. Confortable bed and pillows. Even the standard rooms have a great view to the mountains. It is worth doing the 2.8KM hike inside the property.

Clearly we were there out of season and were practically the only guests. Nevertheless, we were given a good reception and straight into dinner. One thing to remember going here is that it is at an altitude where the temperature drop from the coast is huge! Fortunately there were plenty of blankets.
