Balmoral is slap bang in the middle of San Jose. You can't get more central. Staff are welcoming and having the shop and restaurant is great as you won't find many other restaurants in the area apart from fast food chains

Wouldnt recoomend San Jose as a place to visit, but Hotel was good clean well located in downtown area with easy access to museums etc. Be aware of piclpockets!. Stafff were super helpful and friendly, room was large and clean. Breakfast was OK bit slow in servic.

Very convenient location to centre of San Jose. Lovely restaurant with a good breakfast. Staff very helpful especially car park attendant who helped my husband navigate our car to the hotel car park. Large comfortable bed.

Location is perfect - in the pedestrian zone. All main 4 museums can be reached within a few minutes by walking. Less then 10 min to Chinatown and resto district. Coffee machine ok, hot shower as well. Excellent parking / unloading bay

Nice hotel in a centre of San Jose. The room was clean, the staff ver friendly and helpful. The hotel is right in the centre, so we managed to explore the city and all the sights on foot. The breakfast was good and the selection was sufficient. I can highly recommend the hotel.

Location is in the heart of San José within walking distance of restaurants and museums. Parking was good.

Fabulous location - we loved being i the heart of the old district with museums, restaurants, the park and the market all close at hand. The street was closed to vehicles and was a great walk. We really enjoyed the festive atmosphere on Saturday day and evening.
