Hotel Overview

Dating back to the 11th century, Leon Bianco is in Piazza della Cisterna, one of San Gimignano’s main squares. During summer, breakfast is served on the quiet, relaxing terrace.

My room is clean, the size is adequate. The view is beautiful looking out the countryside despite the sight of a tall crane working on a tall building close by. The staffs are friendly. The location is central and is close to everything. The walking paths outside the city wall is close by, the view of the tuscany countryside, the rolling hills and the fog, it's feast for the eyes. This hotel is perfect in terms of its comfort, price, friendliness, and location. I had the best time staying there in San gimignano. Oh I get to see sunrise too. It's beautiful.

Superb location, just on the main square, but very quiet thanks to double glass window. The room was very spacious, high ceiling, vintage style, but very comfortable. Very good breakfast. I can recommend without any hesitation!

Perfect location in the center of San Gimignano. It’s a beautiful historic property with modern amenities. Our room and bathroom were large and comfortable. We had a lovely view of the hills in the distance (room 40); photo attached. We asked for a quiet room, so we were on the back corner of the hotel which was perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast for 12 euros per person was well worth the cost. There were plenty of choices and the food was very good. If we return to San Gimignano we will definitely stay here again!

As always, the staff were friendly and welcoming and the ambience was delightful. Great breakfasts and perfect location next door to the best bar and pizza in town.

Very convenient location. Few minutes walk to main bus station. Very closed to main attraction sites. Rooms with reasonable size with comfortable beds. Staff are helpful. Good breakfast. Discount with paying cash. Great money for value.
