This was the perfect place to wind up our holiday in Italy. Monica and Giorgio and their family are the most gracious and helpful hosts, truly they are in the right business. We looked forward to the bountiful breakfast each morning, always prepared with smiles, and Giorgio stopping in to answer all our questions about the area. David's recommendations for dinner were appreciated, as was the wine tasting presented by Martina and enjoyed on the outdoor terrace. We have warm memories of Il Palagione and are happy to recommend them to travelers to Tuscany.

Monica and Giorgio were excellence host, my family loved every parts of our two nights stay at IL Palagione. My daughter has gluten-free diet restriction, although we only informed them on the night we arrived, we were pleasantly surprise that Monica actually prepared a gluten-free cake for my daughter for breakfast the next day! We were very touched. Giorgio was helpful in making sure we know exactly where to park our car for our visit to San Gimignano, and provided us with good information on where to visit. On the day of leaving, we were having some trouble with the application for Limited Traffic Zone for our visit to Bologna, Davide was super helpful to help to check with the authority and step through with me the online application (something that he has not done before!). The hospitality IL Palagione is unmeasurable, 6 stars treatment from a very kind family and a lovely house. Will certainly come back again one day. Their wines are fantastic! Must do the wine tasting :)

Everything was amazing! The property is in a lovely setting in rural Tuscany. Our room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was incredible - a great selection with both savoury and sweet options. The staff were all amazing, especially at breakfast where they were very attentive and gave us recommendations for our itinerary for the day. We also booked a wine tasting at the property which we really enjoyed, the wine was lovely! Overall this was a fantastic experience and we would recommend! Thank you so much for an amazing stay.

The owner Giorgio met us and gave us a lovely tour around the facilities, room was very clean and spacious with a very nice bathroom and views of the vineyards from bedroom are just perfect. Breakfast was very good with local ingredients (home grown figs were the best) and homemade pies and tarts fresh each morning. Location is just a couple of minutes drive from San Gimignano and staff are very nice to help with good locations to visit. I highly recommend this place and will be back definitely.

Very friendly and hospitable hosts! Nice and clean room with comfy bed. Outstanding breakfast. Giorgio gave us tips and recommendations for restaurants and locations nearby every day.

Beautiful and charming location, traditional house modernized elegantly and great confort. The view was spectacular, the breakfast was great and Giorgio was very kind and helpful with information or suggestions. Dreaming already about going back there next year!
