extremely friendly staff. they answered all our questions and let us keep our bags downstairs before checkin. allowed us to come back from time to time to see if the room was ready early. we ended up having an incredibly room with a fantastic view over the country side. highly recommend!

Location, old town center, pedestrian zone. Helpful staff. Breakfast sufficient, but nothing special; breakfast room very nice, with a view . Balcony with a dual view: part to the valley and the other, smaller, part to the old town. It is possible to come to the hotel with a car to unload the luggage (for 20 min.); considering the old town and crowd of tourists it is quite ok.

I had an amazing time in San Gimignano and the hotel is also part of that. Hotel La Cisterna is excellent, location is perfect, the room was very clean, bed super confortable and the view of the window of my room was spectacular. Breakfast was also great and the people there very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend.

I think I had the absolute best room in the hotel. #61 had a balcony looking over the beautiful Tuscan hills. It was incredibly spacious, comfortable and the view absolutely breathtaking! Food was delicious and staff were helpful and courteous.

Balcony overlooking central square, good air conditioning, modern bathroom with effective shower. Friendly staff stored our bikes in back courtyard overnight. San Gimignano is rammed in the day but empty early morning.

We spent a little extra for a room with a terrace and view over the valley, and it was absolutely worth it. Our room was comfortable, the bathroom excellent and while the hotel was busy, it was quiet in our room. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend as the location is amazing.
