- Loved the location, close to Fisherman's Wharf. - Easy to grab public transportation - Room is small but is great for short stays and for having a place to rest.

Good location, close to the Wharf. Nice staff, very helpful. Rooms are tiny and loud. But it's ok to be there. Good restaurants nearby - and the cable car around the corner!

Actually an authentic and nice place. Very oldish ... and the rooms are tiny. I imagine a couple with lots of big suitcases ... My first room was really depressing, much to small. But a nice guy at the reception (they are all nice!) gave me a much better room. If you just need a bed in North beach at an affordable price and the Italian bar in the same building, the wharf in 5 min walking distance, the cable car around the corner, a good Thai restaurant a few yards away - so go there.

Charming interior kept in good condition. Shared bathrooms were very clean. Good coffee. Given the great location, it was also a bargain price.

The interior design of the hotel was really cool. Beds were comfortable and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. Even though bathrooms are shared and outside of the room, we had a small sink in the room which was great. We appreciated free filtered water and coffee in the lobby. Also the location of the hotel is very good with great connection to public transport (buses).
