It’s really cute! It sort of has an old fashioned feel but is still modern with modern amenities. I liked the location and proximity to Union Square. Also the staff were very helpful throughout the whole stay.

The location was excellent as it was near muni, Bart and the tram. It is an old art deco building and as a solo traveller I felt completely safe. The staff were exceptional and very helpful. Edward was outstanding as he advised me on the best bus route 30 to the presidio area. He was very funny and knowledgeable about the city and went out of his way to help. The hotel was within walking distance to Powell street station and the ferry building. It was close to sfmoma as well which had fantastic exhibitions on.

Their service was absolutely perfect. If you need help, don't hesitate to ask them; they always did their best to assist. I reported an issue with the room, and they immediately provided me with a different one. During my trip, I encountered a distressing issue with a parcel, which left me quite flustered. However, the staff promptly assisted me and resolved the matter when I asked for help. It was the best service.

Location was perfect. Edward (The man at the counter) was lovely. The room was small and perfectly sized for my needs. I loved the little enclave for me to do my makeup and get ready. The property is so beautiful and industrial - sometimes I would just sit in the lobby and take it all in. I’ll definitely be back.

This hotel is located close to shopping, sites, food, BART and the cable car. We parked the car on arrival and left it there for the 4 days we were in San Francisco. (Parking fees from the hotel were less than the posted rate at the garage, a deal between the hotel and parkade.). The hotel is located in an historic building so the rooms are small but functional. The beds were comfortable and the towels fluffy and plump. There were lots of pillows too. Overall, relatively good value for a centrally located hotel in a big city.
