This historic hotel has original old fashion interiors. The internal garden is a place where relax under the trees and the left elevator transports you back in the past, very nice idea.

The location is excellent, right in the centre of San Diego and great for the sights and convention centre. The staff were very polite and the valet parking efficient and courteous.

The location was excellent, very close to the Gaslamp quarter, and a short walk to the San Diego Bay, and attractions. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby, with a good onsite bar and restaurant. It's an older and historic hotel and has a nice feel to it, with a relaxed vibe. Also worth noting it's an easy walk to the convention center, and tram system at the bottom of 5th avenue.

The woman working the front desk when we arrived and through the evening was amazing. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The valet parking guys were equally friendly and helpful. This hotel is very quaint. It has some great history behind it. Read up on it if you want to know more.

Great location, just next to the busy street with bars and restaurants. Room is clean, beds are comfy, shower is hot. Hotel bar is very cool.
