Location is exceptional - close to bars and restaurants. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. Great value for money, I would definitely stay again.

Very nice, beautiful, clean hostel. The staff is very welcoming. The place is safe with staff checking access cards because it's a busy location surrounded by bars The towel is included which is rare for an hostel.

The check in was super smooth and staff was so nice! The rooms are clean and well designed and so are the showers and restrooms. There are events almost every night so if you want to meet people it’s great, and if not you can stay aside easily! Awesome hostel, will be back!!

The hostel location is amazing, and so is the historical property. It is pretty cute, with good bedrooms (curtains on the beds, along with sockets and individual lights), good all gender bathrooms, which were never crowded, simple but good breakfast, gentle staff and great communication and expectation alignment prior to the stay, which I truly appreciate.

This was one of my best hostel experiences ever. The vibe is awesome. Room was spacious and beds comfy. Lot's of common areas to hangout. A big kitchen where we can cook our own food, which was a blessing in San Diego where eating out is not cheap. Free condiments to cook were added plus. Fridge was available for food storage. Breakfast was delicious and generous (Milk, corn flakes etc., and oranges). Tea/coffee available round the clock. Staff were certainly the best part of this hostel. Their friendly service made it a truly memorable stay.

Gret location - right in the centre of the Gaslamp district. I had read reviews that it could be noisy, so requested a quiet room and we had a great, quiet sleep.
