Holiday Home Overview

This unique vacation rental property is a 5-minute walk away from a secluded beach. It has 5 different units you can choose from. Offering walking meditation labyrinth, a nature trail and dedicated areas for relaxation and meditation throught the property, Istmo Beach and Jungle Bungalows is situated in Playa Grande, San Carlos in the Panama Region. Guests can enjoy views of the jungle surrounding the property.
All bungalows are air-conditioned, have a private bath with hot water, refrigerators, and a patio with hammocks and panoramic views of the property. Most units have fully equipped kitchens with their own dining area. Free WiFi and beach towels are also provided.
Istmo Beach and Jungle Bungalows is set within 4 acres of rainforest, 1 acre of which is untouched, Playa Coronado is 14 km away and Playa Blanca 19 km away.

This bungalow has a balcony, seating area and air conditioning. This unit does not have a kitchen but it does have a refrigerator and a coffee maker. The Bungalow has an attached full bathroom and two bunk beds, each with a comfy full-sized bed on the bottom, and a twin bed on top.

This unit consists of 3 stand-alone bungalows. Two are bedrooms and the third one is a fully equipped kitchen. The Master Bedroom Bungalow has an attached full bathroom and two very comfy full-sized beds. The Second Bedroom Bungalow has an attached full bathroom and two bunk beds, each with a comfy full-sized bed on the bottom, and a twin bed on top. The Private Kitchen Bungalow has an attached full bathroom, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen, with cooking utensils and appliances including a stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and blender.

This unit has a fully equipped kitchen. The spacious studio apartment is equipped with high-speed internet, a/c, a hot water shower, and a large front porch. It has an attached full bathroom and two bunk beds, each with a comfy full-sized bed on the bottom, and a twin bed on top. The porch has an outdoor dining area and charcoal BBQ. Please bring your own charcoal.

This unit consists of 2 stand-alone bungalows. One is a bedroom and the other has a fully equipped kitchen. The Master Bedroom Bungalow has an attached full bathroom and two very comfy full-sized beds. The Private Kitchen Bungalow has an attached full bathroom, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen, with cooking utensils and appliances including a stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and blender.

The beds were incredibly comfortable—the best we had in Panama, and we had a few. The rooms and bathrooms were large and clean. The kitchen was very large and had all the amenities you needed. The beach was only a few minutes away, and we saw monkeys and plenty of birds. This place is off the beaten track. If you don’t have a car, you'll need to bring your food in. Sean is incredibly helpful. He got us a taxi to the grocery store and had previously recommended an awesome van driver who drove us back and forth across the country before delivering us to Istmo and then taking us back to Panama City.
