We had a good stay at this hostel, especially appreciating the mix of privacy and social atmosphere. Our accommodation was a fully private two-story space with its own bathroom and kitchen, which made it feel like a home away from home. At the same time, the hostel itself had a social vibe, with many Spanish-speaking guests—great for practicing Spanish! The breakfast included scrambled eggs, which was a nice touch, and the shared kitchen was well-equipped with everything needed to cook. The staff was super helpful, offering great advice on activities. The view from the hostel was beautiful, and the bus stop right outside made getting around easy. Plus, a 10% discount for paying in cash was a nice bonus! A few downsides: The hostel is on a fairly busy road, so earplugs were necessary for a good night’s sleep. The bed was quite worn out and really needs replacing—it did affect our rest. The WiFi was unreliable, dropping out frequently and not very fast. Also, the location is about 20 minutes by bus from the center of Bariloche. This wasn’t a big issue since the bus is cheap and runs frequently, but it’s something to keep in mind. Overall, a solid choice if you’re looking for a mix of privacy and a social atmosphere, but with some room for improvement in comfort and connectivity.

The staff is very friendly and helpful!! We are grateful they supported us with some issues on our flight and organising tours. Breakfast with homemade bread, mermalade , scrambled eggs and coffee🤍

Loved the staff, they are very helpful and relaxed. Other travellers were respectful and kind which made the whole experience great. I had quite a large room for just myself and it was comfortably warm and had a great view on the lake to wake up to!

We think that the cottage, the facilities and the activities, Kayaking, Cycling are really good. The breakfast, stunning views from the dining table and home made bread, is superb. Saturday night’s BBQ is a really great opportunity to share and enjoy …
