Location is perfect. Close to Oq-seray, and Gur-i Emir mausoleum. The Registan Square is around 1km away. The staff was very kind.

Superfriendly staff, very comfy and cozy room and very tasty breakfast. And cherry on the cake - the yard is back to back to Gur Emir mausoleum - you can see the top of it from the yard

The breakfast was fabulous with six options every day. A water dispenser is available in the kitchen. Free luggage storage is available after checking-out. The hotel lady kindly helped us to hail a taxi to the train station with her mobile application at the lowest possible price.

Alisher was super helpful. Airport pickup is not included as stated previously , but he arranges it for a very reasonable $5. Our flight came in at 4am! and he was there to pick us up. We had travelled all night and were exhausted and he actually gave us a room temporarily to sleep in until ours was ready---very kind! Also took me to his brother who does currency exchange at good rates.Thanks Alisher ! He also has a very charming and cleaner who seemed to be there from 8am until 11pm--so lovely and pleasant !! He also cooks the breakfast personally, fried eggs/fried bread and some friuts . The Guest house was in a nice quiet side street, and just behind the Gur-i Amir and 15mins walk to Registan Square. You can even make a trip at 9pm to see the light show ( free) If you decide to visit the Shah i Zinda, cut across the gardens of Registan Square ans it is a nice shaded pedestrianised walk ( 40mins) For dinner try the Va'Guri restaurant,(JXV9+X36, Bakhtiyor Khamidov St,) it is about 25mins walk from guest house, but fab BBQ meats at great prices Was very impressed at the cleanliness, safety and pleasant people of Samarkand and very cheap as compared to Turkey. Nobody tries to cheat you.

The breakfast was O.K. but you had a set menu to order from rather than a help yourself type buffet I encountered in all my other accomodation in Uzbekistan. Zara who checked me in and ordered a taxi for me on my last day was excellent and most helpful.

Zara, our hostess, was so welcoming. Unfortunately we couldn’t stay at her place and she made sure we could go to her neighbor’s hotel, Mehribon guest house, which was amazing. Our best guest house so far (after Bukhara and Khiva). Zara checked up on us and answered all our questions very quickly.

Lovely family run hotel. Tasty varied breakfast cooked on the day to your order. Very clean, fast WiFi. Great location just behind the Amir Timur Mausoleum. Safe area, and close to bars, restaurants and in walking distance to other monuments. Staff couldn't do enough for us - he woke up earlier than usual to cook our breakfast and even dropped us to the train station as was driving in that direction, thank you so much we highly recommend people to stay here :)
