The owner (uncle) really nice .he help us talk with rude taxi driver and settle the problem,really appreciate it.and he also okay to receive payment a bit late because we can't find ATM machine nearby.really appreciate the kindness.

Everything ! Great place, quiet and owner super super friendly and helpful ! He let us wash our rental car. Anything you need he will answer present. Rooms are confortable and typical uzbek style. Location is a bit far from center you can easily take a taxi or bus.

We had a great stay at Iskandars. The inner courtyard is very pleasant to sit in the mornings and evenings. His family was very nice and helpful. He gave us very good advice for restaurants and things to see around Samarkand. Great location next to bus stations. You can take bus number 7 from the train station to a stop 5 minutes away!

We liked the house, it seemed old with the specific layout with a interior garden with tasty apples. Also you could relax on the tapsan in the garden. It is in a quiet neighbourhood and you have bus connection to the center or other locations. The host very helpful and thoughtful.

The host, Iskandar, was the most cheerful and helpful host we've had in Central Asia. His effort to provide information about nearby restaurants and Samarkand attractions was seamless. The twin room we booked was clean and spacious. Also, windows overlook the beautiful yard full of trees and flowers. The location is not so close to the main tourist attractions. However, it's close enough to the public transportation, or if you love walking, it's within 30 minutes of walking distance.

Absolutely everything! The property has a beautiful garden and a wonderful outdoor seating area to have breakfast and hang out after a long day of sightseeing. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, everything you need. Iskander is what makes the place special though - he is the kindest, most caring, generous and knowledgeable host who loves to chat and share all he knows, from history to sights around Samarkand. He is always available and truly cares so deeply about the people who come into his care. We were moved by his generosity and warmth and wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Samarkand! Thank you Iskander for the most special stay.
