Very clean & comfortable dorm, good breakfast and it was possible to use the kitchen. Met a bunch of good people there as well. The cherry on top is Sherzod, the owner, who is as easy going as an exceptionally interesting person to talk to, especially as he’s one of the few speaking great English. Spent lots of time discussing & exchanging stories.

Very nice hostel with a beautiful outside common area, beds are equipped with storage drawers, curtains, light and plugs. Clean shared bathroom in the room. Good breakfast. Helpful staff.

Really liked this hostel. The dorm had a curtain, plug and light switch by each bed. Decor was cool. Nice breakfast. Map of the area provided as well as restaurant recommendations. Excellent.

Hands-down one of the best hostels that I have stayed at! Great staff and friendly receptionists, they provided me with a lot of recommendations and were quick to help out if I needed any assistance navigating Samarkand. A printed map and a list of recommendations (restaurants and places to visit) were provided to me when I checked in. The location is superb and a walking distance to a lot of attractions. I stayed in a clean 8 bed dorm, the bed was comfortable and the room was spacious enough to accommodate 8 people. A big breakfast was served every morning (eggs, pancakes with jam, veggies and melon slices along with coffee or tea). There's an outside communal area where you can meet other backpackers and travelers. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone going to Samarqand.

My friend and I loved our stay at the Old Radio Hostel, and the overall vibe of the place. We stayed in the twin rooms which were super comfortable. Really loved the attention paid to details by the hosts like providing us with maps of the local sites, and how wholesome the breakfast was. Definitely recommend.
