This guest house was excellent and provided exactly what I needed for my stay in Samarkand. Great location 5-10 min walk from Registan Sq, and near plenty of restaurants and shops as well. The single room is perfect for a solo traveler, efficient with its space but not so tiny you can't unpack a little. It's simple but has what you need for a relatively short stay. The staff, particularly Bek, were very friendly and helpful. He had more answers than I had questions, and was nice to chat with for a few min here & there, to learn about the people & culture in his country. I would definitely recommend this place.

Excellent location 5 min walk to Registan. Manager Bek is nice and friendly, his english is superb. Rooms nicely designed and interior yard is so sweet. Clean bedsheets, clean rooms, little fridge, comfy little clean bathroom. Breakfast is nice, Johanna lady is cute and joyful.

We stayed in cute traditional room with the view of outer garden.The breakfast was delicious and variety of meals with fresh fruits.Staff were so helpful that I was so embarassed with communication

We had booked in Jahongir guesthouse but we were upgraded to Jahongir Premium hotel (50 meters from Jahongir Guesthouse). Jahongir Premium is a new building with very comfortable and very clean rooms. There's an inner yard which must be very pleasant when the weather is mild (when we were in Samarkand, there was snow). Breakfast buffet is quite rich with different dishes. And, last but not least, we would like to thank warmly the people at the reception who organised a dentist appointment for us when one of us had a tooth problem. Many thanks !

Rather large room (NR.20) with sitting area. Clean and warm. But not decorated as on pictures. Great location near Registan and some restaurants around. Good plentiful breakfast buffet with real expresso coffee machine. Nice staff.
