The room was very clean and breakfast was great. The atmosphere and staff were warm and welcoming. I was given a map so I knew how to reach the town centre and I was able to buy a Salzburg card.

Breakfast was very extensive and catered for all including vegan option. The rooms was spacious and clean. A kettle and tea/coffee faciltiy was available. Also fresh fruit was to hand.

Loved the room which was lovely and comfy with a big bathroom. Hairdryer was a decent one so no need to bring one. Kettles available in the entrance which we took advantage of. Really peaceful and a pretty location with adequate parking Great continental breakfast with a good choice. Hosts were perfect with great recommendations and helpful hints on arrival, lovely and friendly and clearly care about their guests

The service was very nice, and helpful. The rooms are big but a little cold. The toilett is in a separate room from the washing basin. The breakfast really nice! The negative part is: weak wifi and it is necesario to go by bus to the touríst attractions.

The room was simple and a little outdated, but in spite of that offered some perks even the most modern hotels sometimes miss out on. The plumbing impeccable, with instant hot water, the sound insulation good, the darkness in the room perfect. Simple tricks, such as a shared fully functional kettle, rather than a barely usable little piece of plastic in each room, make perfect sense and allow a maximisation of space and resources, without really reducing any of the comfort. Breakfast was simple, yet contained all the good things one could ask for, including various 0km or homemade products, and the host went through the effort of ensuring we had what felt like bakery-fresh gluten free bread, which is highly unusual and left us pleasantly surprised, since most hotels typically offer the longest shelf-life slices bread they can get their hands on. Parking was easy and comfortable, the location is well connected by bus and both bus stops for the two lines towards the city centre are within a 10-12 minutes walk. Finally, the hosts are delightful. We were there shortly before Christmas and it looked like they had a lot on their plate (figuratively), but they ensured we always received a warm greeting and impeccable service level.

Lovely staff and cozy room. The location is a bit hard to find, you need to put in the adress "pension Helmhof" and follow the signs on the road.

in one sentence " Home away from Home" . The stunning houses and beautiful fresh air .The Character of the property is nothing like A Hotel.It feels like home.The proximity to the public transport ( 10 minutes walk to the bus stop) And also been away from the crowd having a relaxing night as I would prefer .Buses are running every 10 minutes on weekdays and saturdays ( sundays different time tables)and tickets are not expensive . I had a 24 hours bus tickets which were convinent for me.Hosts are kind , helpful , polite and welcoming . If you have questions they will help you for sure to answer them .If you like a quiet place at night and fresh air but also be fairly close to the city , that is your place .Very clean.I have lots of pictures which I have shared a few .All those little items are displayed there from years ago ,showing the history of that wonderful place. A farm house turned into a Pension / guest house ,fairly modernised as much as possible but kept the history and memories alive .👌😃It is a family running business . The breakfast was very nice ,served in the beaitiful room which you feel so comfortable.Home made Jams and boiled eggs also are from home.Fresh breads and lots of different products from local market/ shops were great .Wonderful experience .It is not 5 stars Hotel or whatever stars you give them but for me was a great choice .If I Visit the city again I will stay with them for sure .
