Hotel Overview

The 4-star Boutiquehotel Amadeus is situated in a quiet pedestrian street in the heart of historic Salzburg.
All rooms were extensively renovated in 2017 and are individually furnished. All rooms are equipped with cable TV and a private bathroom with shower or bath.
Coffee, tea and a variety of cakes are offered throughout the day in the hotel's medieval vault. Guests are welcome to read one of the free newspapers or enjoy a glass of wine or other beverages from the 24/7 Honesty Bar on one of the sun terraces.
Guests can use the computer in the lobby or read some newspapers on the terrace. The attentive front desk staff is happy to help with information about events or tours.
Most sights of the Old Town are located within 1 km, including Salzburg Cathedral, the Mirabellgarten castle grounds and the Getreidegasse shopping street. The Hohensalzburg Fortress can be reached in1.3 km. Guests can park the car in a public garage, 300 metres from the hotel.

The hotel was close to most attractions, within walking distance. The hotel appeared small but the rooms were spacious. Bed was comfortable. Guests were provided with tea, coffee, cakes and fruit at anytime of the day at Reception which was very nice.

Spacious and comfortable room - more of a suite really - and very central location. Good sound proofing to the outside of the building so no street noise problem. Having a 24/7 lounge with tea and coffee and cake was a real bonus.

The location of the hotel is excellent, we were able to walk to all major sights and Christmas markets. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Super clean rooms.

Nice comfy room in a very clean, cosy boutique hotel in a great location in the city centre. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Felt very traditional and provided for a very relaxing stay. Bed very comfy. Excellent shower and bathroom. Well heated room and nicely decorated and furnished

Great location, nice hotel room, clean. The church bells are not loud with the windows closed but if you are a light sleeper you might want to bring earplugs.
