The couple who run the place are incredibly kind and always happy to help, whether it’s with recommendations on what to do or anything else you might need. The views are absolutely stunning, offering the perfect balance of being immersed in nature while only a 10-minute walk from town. The shower was the best I’ve had so far in South America—pure bliss! Everything was spotless and smelled amazing, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend this place!

A very special place, high in the mountains of Salento. The hotel was super nice, with amazing views! The couple who is taking care of the place was super nice and friendly, and very helpful in recommending tours and organising them. Very professional. We had such an amazing time and will definitely recommend the place. Even though it looks like it's so high up in the mountains, the walk to the city centre is only 10 mins (down) and max. 15 mins up (not very steep).

Amazing hotel in the perfect location: outside of the noises of the town but within a walking distance. The bed was suuuper comfortable, the amenities are very new and clean and the room was massive (looks better than the photos). Margarita and Ignacio were very hospitable and helped us a lot with recommendations! We had some nice conversations near the fireplace in the main room which was very cosy. The highlight of the hotel are two massive dogs that are always ready for pets and scratches.

We loved staying at Gran Azul, it is perfectly located just 5min walk from the town but offers the quietness and the nice view of the mountains. Margarita was extremely welcoming and helped organizing some fun tours around Solento. The breakfast was very delicious and served in a nice common area.

Amazing view from room, property is immersed in nature Very nice location just outside the town (8/10 mins of a safe walk) Very good suggestions from the host, that helped us coordinating transfers and experiences during our stay Totally recommend for a couple days in Salento!
